Yeah, I'm with you Josh, I've only had my ticket since the spring and Discovered that the local club has all of three members all of which are in their 80s and want to do absolutely Nothing with radio anymore The gentleman who tested me Haven't heard blue boo from him since I got my test done. I know he's got a great setup he's got an amazing antenna but I never hear him on the local repeaters I haven't been able to hear him at all. The closest club that seems active is Sudbury it's almost an hour away and when I reached out to them I never got a response so yeah like I'm in the same boat as you and i'm just like well i love electronics i love tech radio is what got me into electronics is what drew me into the air force so i do it for me and like you i found do drop in and i love it there's one i was talking with a minute ago with kev on absolute tech that's good there's a couple of nets on there tuesday nights um other than that you know there's not a whole lot a lot of YouTube videos and a lot of reading but hey that's part of the fun it is what it is man as long as you're happy with what you're doing and more power to you what are your thoughts on trying to incorporate discord into your net bud
