And I have moved on from Karl Hjalsen, actually in Norwegian his name is pronounced Hjalsen, you know, the characteristic of pronouncing his name and of course it's fine, I would be fine if he himself pronounced his name Hjalsen, but it looks like a Norwegian name to me. So I finally looked him up on Wikipedia and it turns out he is Norwegian, Norwegian and Irish and he may or may not know how to pronounce his name, which is fine, it's all fine, but I won't take any guts for pronouncing it Hiaasen because that's closer to Hiaasen than the other one here I asked for where to find the Carl he often is Elliott Bay books which is a mystery then they gave me that weird you know look I was the light to the eye and like obviously how come this person doesn't know how to pronounce his name and I thought wait a minute I looked it up and asked Google Translate to pronounce both versions of it I thought okay I'm not gonna take any Anyway, but I moved on to Tess Garretson, and I like her spy novels, this series of these retired CIA agents and analysts and stuff who have ended up moving to the small town in Maine, and they help the local sheriff, who is just a 25-year-old woman who is thrust into the position of police chief of the town because of the previous sheriff died. But they make a kind of cautious alliance and solve murder mysteries. I like those stories, but she also has some other weird kind of almost supernatural stuff. I'm reading one of them right now, The Shape of Night. I'm not into spooky stories, but this one is spooky. According to some of the criteria for a house or a home being haunted, there in this novel, My Old Apartment at Villa 408 was haunted.
