You know one of the things that I really like about this net is it's more of a discussion than a reporting session and during the discussion of illegal orders and who put up what video and stuff like that it occurred to me that the cutting edge on that thing is the examples you use. If somebody says they just don't feel like it and I'm not going to do that I'm not going to take that hill that's not a good example. A better example is to compare two soldiers. One is a drone pilot with his finger on the button for the hellfire missile when he's ordered to fire he fires and blows up the boat. He doesn't have the information to understand whether that boat is carrying drugs or not and it's not in his purview to decide whether that can be done or not. Now Josh's example of the rules of engagement if someone violates the rules of engagement here in Iraq you come across a hospital and your lieutenant turns to you and goes they're going to report where we go so leave no man alive. Now that person has the information to say that's illegal and I'm not doing it. So a lot of that is going to depend on you know whether that person is well enough place to decide whether something's illegal or not and a lot of times you're not. A lot of times you're not.
