That's a sarcasm. And I have moved on from Karl Hjalsen, actually in Norwegian his name is pronounced Hjalsen, you know, the controversy of pronouncing his name and of course it's fine. I would be fine if he himself pronounced his name Hjalsen. But it looks like a Norwegian name to me. So I finally looked him up on Wikipedia and it turns out he is Norwegian. Norwegian and Irish and he may or may not know how to pronounce his name. Which is fine, it's all fine, but I won't take any guts for pronouncing it Hjalsen because that's closer to Hjalsen than the other one. I asked where to find Karl Hjalsen in the books which is a mystery and they gave me the weird look, the eye with the lights of the eye and obviously how come this person doesn't know how to pronounce his name and I thought wait a minute. I looked it up and asked Google translate to pronounce both versions of it. I thought okay, I'm not going to take any guts. But I moved on to Tess Gerritsen and I like her spy novels. She's got this series of these retired CIA agents and analysts and stuff who have ended up moving to the small town in Maine and they help the local sheriff who is this 25 year old woman who is like thrust into the position of police chief of the town because of the previous sheriff died. But they make a sort of cautious alliance and solve murder mysteries. I like those stories but she also has some other weird almost supernatural stuff and I'm reading one of them right now, The Shape of Night. And I'm not into spooky stories but this one is spooky. According to some of the criteria for a house or a home being haunted, they are in this smart novel, My Old Apartment at Villa 408 was haunted. And that's my story and I'm sticking to it and Sean is going to come over to our senior center here by my low income senior housing to see if it's possible to get one of our $50 gift certificates that some donor has decided to get for everyone.
