The goal is to meet new people and work repeaters you might not usually key up. It's also a great way to get started with ham radio contests for folk who are primarily repeater users. So you can light up the airwaves and make some coherent sounds and radio waves on the great repeaters in Washington and Idaho. Anyone with a ham radio license can participate. Technically true because although novices aren't allowed to use two meters, novices do have privileges, VHF privileges on 220 and the 1200 MHz band. So technically it is for all ham radio operators. And on Saturday November 26th is the Radio Club of Tacoma open house. Very good they've got their own clubhouse they've had for 100 years or something like that. And also on this coming Saturday is the Simplex net which has been moved to 146.56 and it used to be called the double nickel net and now I call it the net. Even numbers are boring. Sorry, sorry I'm just being mean. I'm just never mind. I'm just in a mood sometimes. Instantly triggered by the change in that frequency. So anyway and then are the announcements. So now I'm going to move right on and start taking check-ins for the middle round. Where are my, here's my pencil. I've got my pencil in hand moving my, swiveling my supercard in my background in a position where I can write on this clipboard. Any and all check-ins please come down. Kilo Alpha 9 Echo Alpha Alpha F KA9E8EIN. Alright I've got three but I've made out and KA9EHV and Peter. KA9E6RAX and since Peter is sometimes in and out I'll ask Peter are you in or I'll.
