Oh, yeah, I actually got a couple of new radios and at the moment I'm just on the Echo Lake Using the web interface. So I'm using my ThinkPad is my radio right now But yeah, I got a New one from the A2, I think it just came out this past year The FTM-150A and of course in Europe you have the FTM-150E and There's a little upgrade for it the ASP module that came with the one audio signal processing so it's the F-150A No, F-150R ASP. That's what it is and And You know, it's just just all the well, I won't say all but most of the features you would want in a good Dual band Mobile radio. I like to display. I like the ASP feature It won't it won't bring out stations that are unreasonable But stations are reasonable with a lot of annoying noise It gets rid of the annoying noise it does a super job of that and A local repeater where we do most of our local nets for some reason. There's just a lot of noise on people's signals I'm not sure why that is but yeah something going on there Anyway, it just cleans all of that up makes it so much more pleasant to listen to so very happy with that radio and And another neat thing about it is that you can take the The face plate front unit off Which you could do with lots of radios, but this one not only has the microphone connector on the front of the radio, but also it has a little speaker in the front of the radio, so Here we go, so I went and bought a 50-foot which is way longer than they needed a 50-foot cat6 cable And I can have that radio plugged into that cat6 cable and the head units. I sit in this room this is the next room over and Yeah, it's like I've got the whole radio there I'm learning a full power and everything but all that stuff It's gonna be as the room so I could with a cable like that. I can even take it outside I got to the living room, you know, well, there's nobody trips on it. The other one I got is the Yay-shoot or the sorry the bowfang uv5r mini and just about the smallest HT out there and I You know, I wouldn't do a net with it. I think it would get hot for you But it sure is nice Just to carry around on my belt. They got a signal stick that one of my friends gave me well that long skinny antenna you can you can tie it into a loop and You know, that's just a pretty good Combination when I'm walking around I I took tried the antenna into a loop. There's under my coat But when I want to actually use it I can other time make sure it doesn't spring and you'll get me in the Tenors a pretty good spring and that hey, you know a very small package and you get out and You know, it's got some nice color display and all of that stuff to USB charging So hey coming up into the modern world here with with the VHF. Anyway back to you. Yes, you can
