I've got a couple of contracts and they're paid monthly. Like every single month faithfully they pay whether they have any issues or they don't have any issues, they pay. And if they come across an issue that's minor, it's included in that cost. If they have a project that's relatively major like a server issue or something like that, then it's going to cost you a bit extra above your premium rate. But those people are on like a contract. Certain things are included in that and other things are not included in that. So I just need to get everything down on paper and get, well not paper, but everything down on a computer or in a database or something so that there's set rates for everything. And there's set rates for services. And then there's ballparks for quotes and things like that. I've got to find some way to get the word out there. I mean, I'm going to put in this kind of work on the side in conjunction with other jobs over the years. It's not something that I just picked up yesterday. I went to school for this stuff. And the level of undercutting, like if you try to advertise on social media around here, it is unbelievable. I was like, there was this one guy, oh man it made me sick because I've known this guy for years, right? And I knew that he was a wonderful guy ever since we were kids. Let me reset. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven November Quebec November all star node six two two two. Located in central Washington. There was this big boom in Android TV boxes around here. Everybody wanted to get into a TV box, that magic box that could get you all the movies, all the TV shows, 100% free. Everybody wanted them set up and configured. And I knew the acts that people were using. I knew how to configure them. I knew how to set everything up. This guy came to my house and he brought two Android TV boxes with him. And he wanted them all updated, set up with the proper programs and configured. So I thought it was cool. I mean this guy is like the younger brother of one of my best friends. So he was here and we were just chatting and you know, going through, getting the apps, doing the configuration and all that. And the little shit was taking notes on his phone. And I didn't realize that he was taking notes on his phone. And then the next day he was on the same service I was for ten bucks less. I was charging fifty bucks per box and I was maybe doing five a day. So that was you know, barely decent income there for a while right. And then that little shit killed my business in Android TV boxes pretty much overnight. Because his ads flooded social media and he was doing it for forty bucks. So all of a sudden all those calls that I was getting, all those emails, they pretty much dried up overnight. Like turning off a switch. And I realized that little idiot learned a bit what he was doing for me. He sat there and watched me do everything I was doing. And oh man, I was going to beat the crap out of him. I was. I got in my car and I said man, what you did to me was incredibly dirty and it ain't right. He was like oh man, it's a competition, blah, blah, blah. He was like oh, you got to have people bring the box to you. I've got a car. I can go and do it on site, blah, blah, blah. And I'm charging less. It's a better service. It's not a better service, dude. I said you watched what I was doing and you duplicated it and charged less. I said I see you again. I'm going to kick your ass. And he said oh yeah, you try that. He said I'll call the cops and have you arrested. I had to go and just eat it. And it's the same bloody thing. Any time you get an idea and you try to advertise it, it's like it blows up in your face. And that's happened to me so many times over the years that it just gets discouraging.
