So, looks like I'm not the only one getting the edge for chasing the space station here. So, last night I watched it go straight overhead and was able to pull in a little bit of signal with my rubber duck, but not enough to make much of it, so I spent the afternoon of the day slapping together a tape measure Yagi and managed to use that to get him to the simplex net from the ground level. So, not great signal, but enough to kind of validate the thing is working, and I'm steaming it up Buck Mountain now, which you guys can probably see on the microscope. I'm pulling up that repeater and not a lot of signal on the other, so hoping in this next patch here I can get enough signal to actually pull in some data and see if we can get a picture.
