Like Joe said, 1973 through 75, I served at Fort Leonard Woods for basic training and my first AIT was communications. I failed that because my mind went blank in the middle of a radio transmission. Go figure, I'm a ham radio operator. I went to Fort Ord for cooking school. I failed to fill the field of layman school. Excelled in that, a black E5, found God. Because anything he could do, I could already do better because I'd been cooking at home since I was 12 years old. And then I went to Fort Lee, Virginia and said, this is a young lady on my way to Germany. And I ended up in Erlangen, Germany just out of Nuremberg, Germany. And went to look for the LDS church and go figure, it was right next to the train station. Anyway, I left the service at Fort Dix, New Jersey and I bought a 56 GMT pickup and I told him I'd only buy it if it had a spare tire. So he threw a five lug in and a six lug pickup and I got just south of St. Louis in a snowstorm when the tire that he had cleared took a dive. And anyway, I ended up selling them in my truck at Fort Leonard Woods, Missouri when I went back there to check up on somebody. With that, have a great day everyone. I'll be listening right now. Al Fiecho, Svedel and Mike Romeo back.
