This is Skipper KM7 AJM. Well, the rain finally stopped here in Granite Falls and it's about 54 degrees. Hopefully it'll turn out to be a nice day today. We got a whole bunch of maple leaf from our two big red leaf maples and the big leaf maples. We got to rake up and run over with the big lawnmower and then we'll dump those in the compost pile that we turn over about once a week. After about a year it turns into good black dirt for our garden. But I got a back up plan. If it starts raining I'll go back out to the shop and work on our new audio cabinet some more and take Cyclone out for a walk between rain showers and maybe get some salmon. Well, Skipper, I can relate to the lots of leaves. We have a couple big leaf maple trees and I was out on Saturday with the leaf blower trying to blow everything I could back into the woods and get it out of the yard. That's constant battle because it hasn't lost all its leaves yet so there's still more to come. Good luck with that. New audio cabinet. I hope you get that all set up and work. I'm not sure what all you're doing with it but I hope you get it all figured out. It's not raining up there. I don't hear it raining right now either but it was raining hard when I started the net. I'll get it real quick here. Let's see. Starting out tomorrow, well a lot of people probably have the day off because tomorrow is Veterans Day. Tuesday, November 11th. And thank you to all the veterans out there who serve the country. Anyway, Saturday, November 15th is the Radio Club of Tacoma's open house from 10 a.m. to 2 and they pretty much do this every Saturday. Saturday, November 15th is the Simplex net. It's on 146.568 at 8 o'clock. And the big thing coming around here is November 22nd and 23rd is the Repeater Roundabout. There is a website for that. RepeaterRoundabout.com. It's been happening, I don't know if this is the second year or the third year, but it's a lot of fun. So if you get a chance to check it out on the VHRG.org. You can find the link for the roundabout there. Let's see, it was hard to believe that December 25th is right around the corner, Christmas. But it's coming. I think Jack wants this inspired because he's got Sunday, March 8th is Daylight Savings Time coming back. Anyway, that's about all I have for announcements right there for now. I do have, I think it's November 22nd is the next hangout at the Hangar with Lake Washington if anybody's interested. It's inside, it's warm and they have coffee and a little bakery there.
