Started off with that iMac my neighbor gave me a while back if you remember that one so I Got that up on the desk finally and I just It had pin numbers on it, and I didn't know the pin numbers So I got in I reset the pin numbers, and then I factory reset the thing got Mac OS Sierra reinstalled. It was all good, right? except Half of the crap that I tried to do I couldn't do because the OS was out of date So most apps wouldn't work. You know it's Intel granted It's a you know an i-5 with 8 gigs of RAM in it. It's a very capable machine is a quad core i5 in this thing It's kind of slow so I watched a video on Linux on an iMac and I popped in the USB stick after I created it and I didn't have to do anything there was no Alterations of boot loaders there was no Having to flash this or add files to the root of the USB stick to make it work like it was back in the day no, no, you just installed it as if it were a Windows machine and When it installed my god gray? Unbelievable everything worked even the brightness on the display worked the webcam the built-in mic the speakers the Wi-Fi Absolutely everything worked out of the box. I couldn't believe it. I was dumbfounded Literally dumbfounded that everything worked as well as it did and everything came with software to make all of those things work It came with word processors. It came with video editors. It came with literally everything a person could need To use a computer the sleep function worked it didn't the display after so many minutes worked the Programming what the power button does when you press it whether it goes into sleep or turns off all of that worked I couldn't believe it so That was amazing the display Absolutely gorgeous display. I mean this is not a really old one. It's like between 2015 and 2017 I forgot to check before I formatted the thing but Absolutely beautiful display like one of the nicest I've ever seen on a desktop computer This is repelation kilo kilo.
