Good afternoon everyone, this is John of VA3WM in Niagara where there's snow falling here. It's unbelievable. But I guess it had to come sometime and today was the day. So what's exciting in ham radio these days? Incredibly affordable handy talkies that are actually of a decent quality. I'm using a BaoFeng DM32UV. It was less than $100 to my door. I think it was shipped direct from China. But it works. And it does DMR as well. So DMR and analog, dual band. And I mean it's got enough frequency capacity to do FRS, GMRS, marine. I think I timed out there. So that's one of the things I figured out how to make the timeout timer work reliably on this BaoFeng. But I'll get it.
