Cinnamon is actually a version of Mint. Linux Mint has three different versions of it, and Cinnamon is the version at the top when you go to download them. I think, it might be another one. I can't remember the three of them off the top of my head. There's so many different versions of Linux, but Linux Mint, Cinnamon is just a version of that. So you probably still do have Linux Mint. But Linux is not the Cinnamon desktop environment.
