They should have hired a couple of cowboys in there that could last sue them with a rope. They got a big long neck. There's other methods they could have tried. I think a tranquilizer dart would have worked best. I don't know why. It's really a horrible thing that they did. All the others were getting really probably, we won't know the story, but I bet the other ostriches started freaking out when they heard all the gunshots going on. The CDC I think said they shot approximately 1,000 bullets. I think there's about 200 birds, so if you do the math, they must have shot the birds several times.
