Good evening everyone, this is KK7 KHE Adam QTH Southeastern Idaho where it was also a very nice day today. Took the station managers out. The report yesterday was that I was a little over-modulated. I'm learning how to use a much different microphone, not a handheld clutch one that I need to put next to my mouth. This is a desk one that's considerably more sensitive and I got these new Motorola radios that have a mic gain in them and I haven't gotten set quite yet so I'm just trying to be a little bit mellow and not blow you guys out with over-modulation until I figure these radios out. They sound pretty good, I mean, very readable. A little punchy, it might be a tiny bit overdriven. I don't know, maybe somebody else with more experience will comment. I also hear a bit of a 60 cycle hum in the background so you might need something to be grounded to something else, perhaps. Who knows? Thanks for checking in, Adam.
