Well, good evening Bill and to the net. This is Ka-90HV. Well, let's see. I did a wee bit of writing today. There's certain key scenes in this wretched book that's eating my breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and all the rest of my food that have to be gotten correctly. And if you're dictating them, it's awfully hard to revise them without starting them completely over. But as you go through them, you get better at them. So I think I may have finally gotten this one. Once I get it, I just don't ever look at it again until you put it in with the rest of the book and then etc. And so that's fine. I want to write one more before I go to bed tonight. The play on KUOW is not something I want to listen to. Get a little bit of harp playing. Scales, gosh, about half an hour or more worth of scales and pattern studies that I run just to warm up. Getting old, can't play cold anymore. Anyway, that's about it actually. Maybe someday I'll come in with an actual radio project. That would be revelatory. Anyway, 733388. Thanks, Bill, for running the net. It's always good to hear you. And thanks to all the rest of you for listening to me ramble on. You're all great. I love you. This is KA9EHV back to net. KA9EHV, K7WFB. Well, thank you, Anne. Thanks for stopping by. Always interested in how your writing is going. And yeah, you mentioned that play they have on KOW. You know, I used to listen to that so much and it just fell off my radar. I think it starts at 10 and it's from that LA theater group, whatever they call it, and they do plays. So if anybody out there hasn't tried it, it's really nice. Plus you can grab it off the web too after the fact, like a podcast. But they do really nice things, very full produced plays. Thanks for reminding me of that, Anne. Let's drop down the list and talk to K9BDC, Brooks, who so ably led the education session today. Thanks, thanks to do that, Brooks, and thanks for helping me out with that satellite capable radio you have. Come on, Brooks. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7. Well, good evening there, Bill and everyone. I'm K9BDC, Brooks, here in Newcastle. You are very welcome there, Bill. Yeah, that motion radio, KGQ10H is a pretty good radio. Anyway, let's see. Yeah, today was a nice beautiful day outside. We are still without internet here. Thursday night, a truck of some sort. I think I know what truck it was, but I'm not positive. But I took out our overhead internet line that runs from the telephone pole across the street to our house. So we've been out of internet since then. And I did get a text message this afternoon saying that my waitlist appointment for 9 a.m. tomorrow was confirmed. So hopefully Xfinity will be here with their bucket truck to run a new line across the street for us. I was able to get the Starlink out today and test it out. I got it a few weeks ago and haven't really used it much because the point was to bring it in the trailer. And with winter coming up, I haven't had a lot of opportunities yet to try it. So I was able to get that set up and attend the educational meeting today. So yeah, that worked out really well. So I was coming across the satellites as the presentation was about ham radio and satellites and more specifically the ISS. So yeah, Mike, KVABNY gave that presentation. It was a really good presentation. We will get it up on the psrg.com website in the educational section in the next coming days. So with that, let's see what came next. I did some chores around the house. Megan and I went out to dinner and now we're just kind of hanging out here and been listening to the net. I checked into the SimplexNet. That was good. I actually did a relay for someone. That's the first time I've done that on the SimplexNet, so that was kind of fun. Anyway, thanks for doing the net, Bill. 7-3, everyone. K9. Oh, actually, you know what? Before I do that, can you please mark Megan down as an IO? K9 MLR. She is getting ready, I think, for bed or at least to crawl into bed and read a book. So she sends radio waves. K9 BBC, back to that. And radio waves back to Megan. We have her logged in as an IO. Just a quick question for you, Brooks. You know, you were, I mean, that's pretty nicely. I had Starlink when the truck took out your Xfinity internet. So you, I mean, I saw you on the Zoom, of course. So you were streaming video and did everything work just smooth as can be? Those satellites were just flying by and everything was just, did it work real steady like a regular wired line? Thank you.
