The United Nations Environment Program reported on November 4th, was that it was a Tuesday, that the globe will pass the 1.5 degree Celsius threshold, which will be above pre-industrial levels in the next decade. So to remain below this, we need to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions, 55% compared to 2019 by 2035. And it looks increasingly like there is not much chance of that happening according to the 2025 emissions gap report. Many countries agreed to reduce emissions to keep global temperatures below 1.5 degree.
