And as I said, this next one, it's about Earth systems. Our heading scores a doom loop dipping point or points. We could be on a path of unavoidable tipping points that result in total chaos for our environmental systems. And these tipping points are defined as thresholds within key Earth systems beyond which changes to the environment might be irreversible. The most important ones are polar ice sheet collapse, permafrost thawing, which is happening now. That releases CO2 and methane and forced dieback. And once the tipping points are passed, there's a cascade of system failures will likely occur. Humans, we're releasing huge amounts of CO2 and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere continually. And these gases trap heat and increase average global temperatures, burning of coal, natural gas, oil, all contributing to the system. The warming will eventually enhance the disruption of natural processes, adding to the rate which Earth heats up. And as the oceans warm, they will be less able to absorb CO2. And that will get compacted into the environment.
