Good morning indeed. It is beautiful. I got up about a little after six. I've got some stuff done already. I'm fortunate that I've got a clear view out to the west of the Cascades. I'm not sure what mountain that is. It's a nice tall mountain. I've got to look this up on a map. It's got lots of snow up there and it's very clear. One advantage about looking out to the west is our weather comes from the southwest and they've got a really good view out in that direction. I can usually see the weather that's two or three hours out. I will vouch for the fact that today will be pretty darn beautiful. So get out there and enjoy that. I appreciate the heads up on the Rheovac batteries. I generally don't use Rheovac batteries. I go with the Duracell, which I've never had any issues with. It's very discouraging that battery is leaking on you. It's expensive toys and it's a pain to have to try to clean that stuff up off your terminals and hopefully not having caused any permanent damage. I've been meaning to get some silver paint. At VETCO I get a two ounce bottle of silver paint, which is great for restoring contacts and so forth. It's like $40 and I go, I only need a little bit. Why do I want to pay $40 for something that I'm going to use a handful of times and only need a couple of CCs for everything that I would do. Mostly for AAA and AA batteries I use nickel metal hydride batteries, which I have batteries that I've had for 10 years that are still working great. I've recharged them hundreds of times so for things that don't need especially long life, the alkaline will definitely last longer than a product as far as operating time. But nickel metal hydride is a good safe way to go. I've never had any problems and they do last a long time. So what else is going on? Busy day.
