My best friend and his wife happened a couple of nights ago. They were just getting dark and they were driving back to their motel and they came across a deer that was hit by a car. And it was bouncing around and twisting and his legs were still moving. And they were crying on the phone. I could hear his wife. They were busily crying. I could hear her. And I try not to laugh because I try to tell my friend, get the gear and put it in your trunk. You know, the problem is my friend's getting pissed at me because he knows I'm laughing. And I can't laugh because his wife is sitting next to him and he's mad at me. And this guy, he's going deer hunting. He can't make a joke like this. I just hope he doesn't get Bambi syndrome when it comes time to deer hunt. You know, I don't mind killing the deer. If you're going to eat it for food, definitely it's okay. But if you just shoot it for no reason at all, that's wrong. I was hoping he'd pick up the dead bear and bring it back. But without the deer tags, if that's just leaving there.
