Yeah, you know, the difference between well, general or advanced and extra, when you get your extra license, you only get a little more bandwidth on like three or four bands. It's a lot of studying for very little returns. I just did it because I was a technician or no code tech for like 21 years and then I thought I was retired. I tried to talk my brother-in-law to go in with me, but I took a class at the local junior college and got my general. And then while I was in study mode, I just went ahead and studied for the extra. I studied for the extra for about six weeks. I went through to take it at the ham club that I belong to, but then I got tired of studying and refreshing. So I just took it at another ham club. It was a library. There was actually only two of us taking the test at that time. We were both taking the extra exam. We both passed. So I don't know what that means, but anyway, so anyway, that's the only reason I'm an extra. Other than that, it doesn't really matter. W0GL. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November Quebec November. I'll be like everything else, right? I have a few of them. I don't do all star. I do Echolink. I do fusion. I do D star. I only have one handheld radio. That's all I own. And everything else I have is I have a thing about AM FM shortwave radios. In fact, I think I'm going to be picking up a new one today. I see an Elite 750 at the candy store. It looks mint. And I'm really thinking about going and getting it today. That is just a gorgeous looking radio. But it's not a transceiver. It's just a receiver. It's just absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of the early 80s type radio. It does have some digital on it, but it still has analog SWR meter. Very wide banded. You get everything. I mean everything on this thing. Has a what do you call it? Ferrite. Rotatable antenna on top. And a large microscopic antenna on it too. You can plug it in outside. You can put an outside antenna on it. Stuff like that. This thing is humongous. I mean it just I don't know. It gives me goosebumps. I just have a thing about radios.
