Under section 106, all federal agencies must consider the effect of their actions on historical properties listed or eligibility for listing on the National Registry. That applies to all federal properties including those owned by and administrated by the federal government. The White House is a federal property. The White House status. The White House is not formally listed on the National Registry because it's an official resident and an official office of the presidency. And active executive buildings are generally not listed for security and administrative reasons. That's why it's not listed. However, it is recognized as the National Historic Landmark, which is NHL, which is a higher level designated created by, oh, here let me reset real quick.
