KA90HV returning and that is Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Singer. That book takes place over a week in which the protagonist goes from being an apprentice to a journeyman. And I know from having been through the placement process that all conservatories go through with the students, they admit that she was absolutely correct in how that process works. It felt like the first pre-week of my freshman year in college was being lived over again. Each of the teachers she talked about had an analog in my life. It was quite fascinating. But more to the point, it's very clear you've got allies, you've got antagonists, you've got people of power in your favor and people of power who are against you. And you've got some measure of progress. So I'm trying to get my flight school scenes with my protagonist to match that model, but I can't condense it into seven days as McCaffrey did with her story. And so trying to figure out how to do that, I need a, it's November and I'm not writing well, but I need something that's a little closer to what I'm actually doing to listen to. Anyway, so that's been an exciting day. Other than that, not a lot going on. Just sitting around doing stuff or trying to do stuff. I was sad to hear about Charlie yesterday. I always enjoyed talking to him and I'll miss him. It's always, it always feels weird when we lose someone. Anyway, 733388 to all of you.
