And that's it for the announcements for this evening. This is KI0AR net control for the Colorado Astronomy Net. I'm going to go ahead and get into the local astronomical for November. We'll start as usual with the phase. We have a full moon occurring tomorrow, tomorrow night, or tomorrow, actually early, it's going to be early in the morning actually, so we won't see the, well you'll see the full moon tomorrow for sure. Got a last quarter moon coming up on the 12th, a new moon on the 20th, and a first quarter moon on the 28th. The moon will be at perigee tomorrow. It will be 221,722 miles per hour. And this is particularly significant. The super moon, also known as the beaver super moon, will be visible on the evening of Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. This is the biggest and brightest full moon of the year because it will be at its closest point to the Earth, or perigee, at the same time it's full. To see it, we'll go to the... All Star Note 16... In Texas looking at it right now. Take your HG and go out and we'll have some observation reports a little bit later. What to know about the November 5th, 2025 super moon. Peak illumination. The peak of the full moon will occur at 819 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on November 5th. But the moon will appear full and bright on November 5th and the night of November 4th, closest super moon of the year. This is the closest super moon of 2025. And it will appear larger and brighter than other full moons of the year. Why it's called the beaver moon. This is a traditional name for November's full moon named by Native American tribes and colonists because it was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze. Oh, a nice little interesting tidbit about tonight's and tomorrow's super moon. So there you go. The moon will be at apogee, it's farthest point away from Earth this month. On the 19th it will be 252,706 miles from Earth.
