Why Debbie, but first it's 1233 p.m. I'm Jack Ki7 RMU David good afternoon Good afternoon to you Jack and hello to everyone thanks again for your service And for everyone else's of course as well the check Great contribution I'm checking in on my ICOM IC 706 mark 2 which I got a couple of months ago used And I think it's all as functional as expected the screen fades in the middle That's probably why I got a discount something else, but I'm also using a pyramid switching power supply I was using a Really weak Radio Shack, and it was fine for the local stuff But I was using the ft 8900 and then so the idea is moving towards being able to do some high-frequency radio Down the coast and so I'm putting together an antenna still at least in my head I think I have the parts have to organize the actual doing of it, but I'm hearing that sometimes this setup with the power supply and the Radio are given a hum or a buzz which you mentioned when I checked in Recently on a nine o'clock net and someone else had mentioned, and then it wasn't there So I don't know if it's when the power supply is getting Hot or has been run for a while, or if there's a wiggle loose in my antenna cable or my mic cable And I'm not even sure really where to start on the troubleshooting So that's part of that also for the days of the week of course Chicago is a Saturday in the park Is a favorite for when you're ready to just cut loose and Hang out in the Sun or whatever Weather is going on always great to hear all the different reports and stories don't know if I'll be able to make it out To the odds net I like the name for that And but it's good to hear about different things going on so that's it for now KI 7 RYW
