I do have some good news to report, but most importantly, Barbara, KF7BR, such good news about your dad and that Clarice is also doing well. Prayers have been answered and miracles do happen. Thank you for keeping us informed because they're part of our family. On the problems I've been having with RFP beginning to fail and my effort over several weeks to move over to All Star Link, not Echo Link. I really don't like Echo Link. I'm glad Bill Jones is on the Net this morning. I had communicated with my clear note vendor, Jerry Philby, and Bill Jones knew all of this kind of stuff, but I'll let you all know. It turns out that he tried and then both of the Joes tried to connect and weren't able to help me get connected. I sent an email off to John Westerkamp, is his name, that runs W8DGN. His response was very short, but not very helpful. I'm three sentences, I'm going to read it. I'm glad we have no restrictions on our systems. I was asking if he had whitelist turned on. On a lark this morning, I tried to connect, and lo and behold, it connected. So this is my first time to use W8DGN, and I'm glad that I got a good report on my audio. This is called Progress, folks, really good progress. I'm in a happy temper today. Last thing I'll say before I turn it back to Net Control is I haven't had a TV for years, but I've had TV delivered by FedEx today. It's a 48-inch Sony Bravia with very high ratings. After it gets delivered, I've got to get it all unpacked and connected and all that, but hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to watch movies in my apartment.
