Correct. Hurricane Melissa had sustained winds of 185 miles per hour. Stronger than Hurricane Katrina, before it made landfall in Jamaica on Tuesday, the storm's destructive path across Jamaica rendered parts of the island unrecognizable to residents, leaving behind towns littered with rubble. Most of those buildings are concrete. They have metal roofs and obviously, struts to hold those up with wood. But a lot of the buildings throughout the Caribbean are concrete just because they have hurricanes. But hurricanes can knock them down, push them right down.
