Well, an FT-70, that handheld I had, I still got it. I was using it as a backup, like by leaving a closet just in case this one craps out for some reason. But I had it for eight, nine years. And I put it back in the box, and then I took this one out. I bought this one last year, another FT-70, because they're a damn good radio. And they're simple to use. I like simple. I love simple. When you tell me I got to buy a cable and a software package to program a radio, I'm kind of like, meh. I'm not really too thrilled about that. Of course, I'm sure that FT-500D is going to be that type of radio, but this looks good. And I'll have to buy extras with it, too. Not only do I got to get a brand new power supply, I don't have a power supply anymore, and the antenna. But I also have to buy, we'll probably get a used second-hand PC with Windows on it, because that's what Fusion works off of when you want to set it up as a wires-ex repeater. Well, a single repeater, you know. But a relay system, a node, whatever you want to call it. So I'll get the radio today, and I'll get the rest later on. Who knows? I might buy it, and it'll sit there for a year before I actually do anything with it. You just never know. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November, Quebec, November. All-star node 6222. Micuted in southern Washington. HT was a 10-width. It was digital. It was huge. It was like a big military radio. It held it in hand. It was an HT, and it came in a nice leather case. It was digital, too, because it had a digital pad on it. But it came in a big leather case. It was really an old radio. Now they're nice and small, but that got by for a few years. I don't know if you recall those. They came in a brown leather carrying case, made out of real leather.
