Yeah, thanks Brian. Yeah, like I said, I've known a mobile rig in a long time, but one thing I, you know, I use an open spot to get into the, I'm in an area where a handheld can't get into Casey White, and, but I still use it, you know, I use either Echo Link or I use my open spot to get on there and talk, but there's this delay. You guys know what I'm talking about, you know, you gotta get what, two seconds, that kind of thing. And so, some of the nets that they have on there, it's kind of like first come, first serve, and I cannot get on if that happens unless I wait until the very end and everybody gets tired of checking in and that kind of thing. So I thought that'd be kind of cool, but the second thing I wanted to do is I wanted to set up a Wires X station at my house and have full power. And then I can cross, I can basically cross band from my mobile unit to my handheld and I can, you know, have a range of, you know, five miles would be more than enough, you know, compared to maybe two or three hundred yards. And I think I'd like that a lot too, so, yeah, it's going to be fun. In fact, I didn't have much equipment left. I got my keyer and I had this headset that I'm using now. I just started using it again, ten year old headset that looks brand new because I didn't use it very much. And what else do I have? Oh, I got a foot PTV switch for Yezu. So I've been thinking about just, you know, getting things back together, but I'm not even going to put the antenna on the outside of the house. I'm just going to put it in the attic. And so I don't have to worry about, you know, lightning strikes and all that kind of stuff. But so, yeah, it looks like I'm going to get back into ham radio a little bit. So, I mean, this morning I was talking to two guys on.
