Yeah, I was almost ready to fall asleep here. I should do that. I got a long day ahead of me. I'm trying to wait for an answer. Guy has a brand new FTM 500D, and I haven't owned a VHF VHF rig in a long time. I have a little handheld. And so I told him I'd buy it like four days ago, and he never came back to me. So I figured, ah, it must have been sold or something. And then he finally texted me this morning, or late last night, I think, and told me, yeah, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. And he had lowered the price another $25, and I thought, hmm. I told him, yeah, I'm willing to pick it up. Let's do it. I got the morning off. So I'm waiting for him to come back to me so we can meet up and get the radio and maybe have a cup of coffee with him or something like that, because he's a fellow ham in the local area here. And then I'll be a real ham radio operator. Not only will I have a handheld, but I'll have a mobile that I'll use as a base station. I'm going to be a lucky man. KV0MAI.
