And new research from UBC Okanagan here in Canada has given some pretty convincing evidence that we are not living in a simulated universe. And not only is this unlikely but impossible. Scientists at UBC have demonstrated that the fundamental nature of reality operates in a way no computer could ever simulate. The findings are published in the Journal of Holography, Applications and Physics. And they have proven something exceedingly profound. The universe is constructed on a level that goes beyond any algorithm's capability. The simulated universe, if it were true, would be able to give life to life which in turn might create its own simulation. This recursive possibility makes it appear highly unlikely that our universe is the original one instead of a simulation inside another simulation, etc. etc.
