So lack of moisture is definitely it. KB3JQQ. Sometimes there is, but with the exception of Jamaica and Cuba and the Yucatan and some other places, generally most islands don't have that much elevation right. They tend to be relatively flat so they get steamrolled so to speak with hurricanes. But elevation also, hilly terrain obviously, hurricanes don't like that either. Okay, that's it for the weather.
