got taken over almost instantly when Art Bell died but for the longest time of course that was his call and of course if you've ever worked him what he does, he does the the, it's kind of a classic way that he sort of recognizes people, when you're working him okay, because I've heard him work stations before he would talk on 3840 right, so I've lived in different parts of the countries you know, North America I've lived in different parts of the states in Canada where I have heard him and as he's working somebody at the, when they're finished the QSO it's usually about a few minutes you know, back to you, back to you again, back to you again he usually, he'll come back with your call and then sign with his call, right so he'll say VA3KKY W6OBB, take care and so he wraps up all his calls that way just so you know if you ever wondered, you know, what he's like on HF or what he was and then it was really surprising when he passed because prior to that he had lost a lot of people right, like he lost a few, he had some guests that he kept losing, right, because he got an old age and then his wife passed, he was in the Philippines and then yeah, eventually he passed you know, I'm just not into the fill-ins though like now it's George Norrie and across the network, across the KORUS Entertainment and Bell Media Network they use the show as filler I think that's all it is because when they have something else going on like for the longest time CFRB, 1010, used the show as filler they found something else to do at night I think they have something called the Nightside and it's filled in coast to coast and then they just kind of bump that somewhere else CKLW runs it and KFPK and you go to the original outlet and I'm like, I don't know I like Art when he did it but I have no idea what I think George knows and Art had good bed music as well but you know, the music that you use when you talk over it and yeah, amazing stuff no one else was playing the nothing but a heartache, the flirtation until he started obsessing on it at one point there was not even a digital copy of it and so yeah, he likes his oldies a few other things too, he likes Jigsaw he likes a lot of things okay, anyone else that would like to check in before we roll it back to the VA3, take me while KI4 MHY
