Well, Iíve been nervous of it, more so than with the last dog. And I had a good chat with this ñ thereís a lot of dog owners on our estate because where we live thereís a football pitch plus a bit and a nice hedge running along the side of the road and loads of farmland and of course we have all of the old railway tracks that used to run to the pits in County Durham. Theyíve been turned into footpaths and cycle paths and bridle paths by the council and theyíre very, very well looked after. I mean itís been a process over the last 30 or 40 years and theyíre absolutely brilliant. I mean there isnít a better place anywhere that Iíve found for dog walking even including the Yorkshire Dales and the New Forest. Itís absolutely amazing for dog walking and five minutes from our door. However Iíve been nervous of letting him off the lead and this was part of the problem with Jane getting pulled over that we have one of these long training leads and we were hanging on to the end of it and thatís how she ended up getting pulled over. He ran a 35 foot lead and she wasnít paying attention just for a couple of minutes as anybody could do and ended up over apex which is not great. So I have let him off. Weíre lucky to have fields that we can let him off on. I find I have to entice him into a pinch point if that makes any sense, you know somewhere where itís narrow, gateway or something like that. But letting him off with a long training lead, Iím moderately confident to do that now and his recall actually is much better than I thought. I mean I had a conversation with some dog walking friends and particularly thereís a couple that have got six dogs and I was speaking to the husband yesterday morning I think it was or yesterday evening I forget and he said you know you need to get him let off the lead, get him off the lead and we did. Running around with other dogs is great. So there you go. Probably timed out, I hope not but there you go G7Mb8s and thank you for asking.
