Hey Jack with SCEVA 7 Alpha Delta. This is for Jim. So you hook the hose up and you open, turn off the water to the water heater and then you open a hot water valve. But make sure you turn off either the gas or electric so you don't start heating the thing up when it's emptying. So, and then after it gets emptied then you turn the water on and flush a little more. It makes the water heater last a few years longer to keep that residue from resting through.
