Aww little kittens! I wish that I could have more kittens but I can't one of my cats would murder them. I tried I have tried to get another cat and yeah it did not work out. I want more cats I would have a house full of cats we all would like we would just I live in a house with my sister and brother-in-law and my nephew and I feel like we would I feel like we would max out it would just be just that just a toxic cat villain. Alright next on the list is Hunter KK7NQN what's going on Hunter? Well hi Rebecca yeah it's been fun lately I mean I've been kind of skipping out on the radio but distracted by other stuff I've been for the last year and a half two years now I've been taking over an auto shop over in Geek Harbor and the business side of the shop is interesting the business has been running since I think the 60s is when the business like actually started and they've really haven't updated much the fanciest thing they got is somewhere in like the 90s they got QuickBooks and nothing has changed that so yeah that's one of the big things I've been working on is transitioning into a little bit more digital so less of my time and the text time is spent writing stuff on paper and then hoping the paper gets passed to the right person in a reasonable amount of time and I've been doing cool cool stuff which is technically radio related is one of the things I did I made it so people can check in digitally from their phone or they can still check in with the person at the front desk if the older crowd still prefers to talk to a person or call those are still a thing unless that they're for a reason but people now have the option to just tap their phone and check in and then while I was at it playing with NFC I decided I would put NFC tags in my oil change stickers so when it's time for your oil change all you have to do is tap your phone on the oil change sticker and it pulls up the appointment scheduler on your phone and you just request an appointment for what you would like on what day and time you would like and you're done or again if you're one of those people that prefer to call there's a button right at the bottom that you just click on it and it calls the shop for you just one simple tap but yeah it's it's been an adventure um awful different scale than what I'm used to playing with computers to make stuff a little bit more efficient but make it work in both worlds of the uh the people who aren't like me and can't just whisper to computers and make stuff work it's it's been fun and also it's it's still a balance even for me I still like to talk to people and do stuff personally so yeah it has been a fun adventure but looking at it I kind of wonder why more businesses don't leverage NFC stuff like this like the NFC tag oil change stickers anyways this is KK7NQN back to net this is repeater station kilo kilo seven November well hunter are you are you buying this business are you just taking over like a management situation um because that's a that is a huge investment of time and brain power for this it is really cool it's so cool I hope that uh yeah as far as your efforts go that you have your name all over this or part of it but um yeah are you did you did you buy the business or are you just kind of taking it over back to you hunter
