Good morning to you and the group. After I got rid of all my HF gear and all that, I've been reorganizing my radio disc. Right now I just got my Yaesu 8900R all set up with crossband repeat. In fact, that's what I'm talking on now. I've been listening to the whole net and the funny thing is, if I crossband repeat like how everybody sets up their crossband repeat, my Yaesu would be working overtime. Everybody talks. My Yaesu would be repeating it to my HT unit Bofang. I got it set up in a way where the Yaesu does not repeat anything off the repeater. I get the repeater directly to my HT unit. But when I transmit, then I transmit to the 440 side, it hits my Yaesu and then my Yaesu crossbands only my HT unit. It does not retransmit anything off the repeater. So that way my Yaesu is not working overtime. That radio would get pretty hot if I did that. It's pretty interesting on how you can set that up. In fact, if anybody doesn't understand what I'm saying, look up my callsign KG7BPX on QRZ. My email is current. You can email me and I'll send you a link to this YouTube video that explains the whole situation. But I'm pretty happy. I'm located over here in Linwood and I'm talking on a little 4 or 5 watt Bofang radio and being crossband repeated. So anyways, that's about all I'm doing. Just a bunch of radio stuff. So I'm going back on out. Again, if you want to see the video, you can look up my callsign on QRZ. Again, it's KG7BPX. Send me an email and I'll send you a link to that video. Anyways, I'm back on out. Turning back to net control. This is KG7BPX. I'll be monitoring.
