The booster launched with no landing legs nor grid fins as it was a factor that was not planned for recovery. The customer needed full boost for the payload going to geosynchronous orbit. So in a rare occurrence the Falcon 9 booster was extended. Saturday, October 25th at 0820 Mountain Daylight Time, SpaceX successfully launched Starlink Group 11-12 on a Falcon 9 from SLC-4 even in Brin Space Force Base, California. It was booster B-108-1 and it was SpaceX's 140th mission of 2025 and the 205th mission of 2025. Saturday, October 25th at 1800 Mountain Daylight Time, Japan snuck in at launch. This launch was delayed several times in the past due to the weather. The launch had not been rescheduled at the press time of last week's report. JAXIS H3-24L rocket flowlessly locked in the air and the new HTV-X cargo transfer vehicle was made in flight to the International Space Station. It was the fifth success for the new H3 rocket. The new HTV-X-1 cargo vehicle will be birthed as a harmony module on the ISS using the Canon all-nose dock. It will remain at the station for six months. The cargo module can carry 5.8 metric tons of supplies and experiments to the ISS in LEO.
