Well, you know, two things on this one. One, you have a lot more decorations than I do evidently, and I thought I had a lot. And two, I actually sang this in the fourth grade chorus as a solo. And I still didn't know who did it. But you're right. In 1962, Bobby Morris, Pickett, and the Krip Kickers recorded this holiday favorite. Pickett imitates horror movie icon Boris Karloff throughout the song. The song is a narration by a mad scientist who creates a monster that, late one night, gets up and begins dancing. Numerous other musicians have recorded their own versions of the song, including the Beach Boys, the Misfits, and the appropriately named musical group Smashing Pumpkins. Gotta love the red hair rings. Good job, sir.
