It's not tacky, but I do have a QRZ code and my wife, she does all this design stuff and things for cars and shirts and hats and all this stuff. It says, follow me and then it shows the national calling frequency for UHF, VHF. I do travel along the highways here in Canada back and forth from the nation of Canada to my house. I'm really surprised at how many people monitor national calling frequency. If you're bored on your local repeater and they're not doing anything, call on national calling frequency.
