Hi Bill and Net, it was nice to see everybody super briefly there at the Rain or Shine. I had a friend in town and we were kind of doing a e-bike tour of Lake Washington and Lake Union was kind of the goal. And so yeah we stopped by Gasworks Park and my friend Brett has always been radio interested but he doesn't have his tickets yet and I'm trying to get him hooked into GMRS at least didn't to get a start and Jack got him set up with a cool GMRS radio today and he's super excited about that so that was really cool. I think we'll easily get him on the GMRS side of things. He and his family go out into the backwoods a lot do a lot of 4x4 and stuff like that so I think that'll be a great setup for him. Other than that yeah we rode e-bikes through the rain for for quite a day I think the whole time we were out there we had a good time just got poured on a little bit there at the end. He's in town for a wedding so we had to kind of come back early and he had to go to an event so I've been hanging around at the house since then and we actually just had our power go out so my immediate thought was I got a flip on the ham radio and let everyone know that I'm still out here I don't have power the radio still works you know the ham thing the ham things doing what it's supposed to be doing so anyway it's great to see everybody again looking forward to the repeater roundabout as well we've got a dethrone the reigning champ this year we're coming for you Cody just so you know and I'll hand it back to net w a 7e V Z Sebastian 7 3 everyone oh yes we can we can say we're coming for Cody but he's very high and very talented and very well equipped I don't know if we have a chance but it's always something to shoot for but the fellow is the footer beat around about if the contest but nobody really can't well some people care I don't care it's just fun it's just fun doing it and meeting up with Sebastian and other people he does it and we all have fun just kind of wandering around trying out repeaters what can be more fun than that and good for you good and Jack for getting Brit started on GMRS that is certainly a starter drug for our hobby but it fits him perfectly with the family doing that outdoorsy kind of stuff Thank You Sebastian well another another attendee at the Rainers shine we have Dean kg 7 ODB but you heard a lot of good stories today Dean how's it going
