It also has to do with neuroplasticity. Even with younger people, let's say for example you watch a movie the first time and it seems like longer as opposed to if you've seen it a second or third time. It goes by faster because you already have the neural pathways established and you can sort of process and anticipate what the plot is or what's going to happen. This is part of the way the brain learns things and that's why any novel task at the beginning is much harder and it seems like it takes longer. As you become proficient, it takes less time and it feels like less time and it does take less time. Casey, 5R jail.
