As a matter of fact, my instructor, and I don't want to pat myself on the back too much because I'm new and I know I'm new, but yeah, I did stalls and stall recovery and my instructor said, well his quote, he said, well that would have, he said that certainly would have passed your check right there. So I've also done emergency landings, that's fun. Where just randomly we're flying out over the practice area and he shuts the, pulls the engine back to idle which simulates an engine failure. And then you set for best glide, you look for a place to land, you run your checklist, you go left to right on all the instruments and things that you could possibly change and then if nothing comes back to life you set yourself up for a good landing, get the flaps out, try to land as low as possible on a country road or whatever. Anyway, I've done that a few times too. And he also said, well you get that about as I, I had it lined up on the road 500 feet above and he adds the power back and he says, well that was about as good as that possibly could have gone. So anyway, yeah I've done some of those too. Back to the landings, I really need to work on the landings, especially the round out at the end. I just need to get that smooth. He said, actually compliment, he said most people solo between 20 and 30 hours and I'm up to, not kidding, I think I'm up to 6 hours now, 7 hours maybe in the plane, oh a little more than that, probably 8 hours. And he said, I think you're going to solo before 20. So I'm like, alright cool, well let's get some landings down because that's important. So anyway, there we go Bill, thanks for that. Anyone else want to join the 9 o'clock net? Name and call please. KK7ZRY recheck.
