So Sunday we worked on take offs and landings, literally did 10, well technically it's 9 touching goes, but 10 take offs and landings. And let's put it this way, I had a wife who was absolutely paranoid for me to learn flying. When I came back home all I said to her was, hey I did 10 take offs and landings. She said great. And then she stepped out of the room and my son Noah who is a pilot and that was five months ago, I said to him, so with all the things you can do bad in flying for landing, let's see you can do ballooning, you can do porpoising, you can land off center, you can have a hard landing. Yep, I did all of those. And I've done so well up until this point my CFI, he told me, he told me I'm proceeding very fast and very rapidly and picking everything up. And I said to him, well I guess we know where your star student needs work now don't we, because it's going to be the landings. The landings are the worst, take offs are easy. But oh boy, I was like, oh I only greased one of the landings. It was the 9th landing out of 10. And as we were taking off and going back up for the, you know, get back into the pattern, I said to Jeremiah, my director, wow, I hope number 10 can live up to number 9. It didn't. So anyway, there you go. The flight fun with Ron learning his stuff. So next time we go up we're going to work on, I think we're going to go over to slow speed first and work on what it feels like to come down slow with flaps out and minimal speed and work on doing that and then come back to the airport and do some landings. I think that's the plan. Anyway, I digress. Okay. That's my little report. Larry was an I.O. Thanks for stopping by KB6VAA. This is the 9 o'clock net. If you'd like to join, I need your name and call.
