Yeah, I think I go with the silicon ones these days I have a couple of those old selenium ones, but they aren't used anymore So they take up a lot of space for one and I don't know about the any other hazards I've never been exposed to any problems with them, but I suppose if they go up in smoke they probably stink pretty bad But yeah, I would just go with the newer solid-state one KK7 VRF You
