Well, it's kind of got it there, pretty much. Basically, someone had suggested over in the UK that I try an long wire on the other radio and maybe figure out either a decent HF antenna that could be rigged up the window without harming the window's condition or take a long wire and drop it out the window. And maybe that would work. But he did say that I should.
