I do have the various apps on my iPhone and iPad as well, but the one thing I like about this is I can print out that piece of paper and that won't crash on me when I go outside and I can figure out what, see I can see all those stars and then get oriented to the sky and figure out what ISS is going to pass over as well as it has time along the path and you can see what constellations it passes through. Again that website is www.d OK we've got a couple of comets. I talked about comet Lemon just a bit passing through Canis, Meneses and Belutes. We also have comet C2025, our two swan shines in the October sky. This is from Space. JPL is shut down because of the government shut down so it doesn't have any posts from them. Comet C2025, our two swan will make a close flyby of Earth on October 21st. And that may have changed slightly to the 24th. I've seen this one, they had another one. A bright new solar system comet could put on a show and it would be a bright new solar system comet could put on a show in the October night sky as it zooms past Earth. Comet C2025, our two swan was discovered on September 10th by Ukrainian amateur astronomer Vladimir Bezubly. It has brightened significantly since then, raising hopes that it could become a naked eye comet around the time that it makes its closest approach to Earth later this month, October 21st. It draws close to the sun, the heat from our star causes frozen material present in the comet's nucleus to turn from a solid directly into a gas in a process known as sublimation. The resulting gaseous shell is then blown away by the solar wind, creating a long tail of dust and gas that reflects the sunlight, creating a cosmic spectacle that could, if we're lucky, be visible to the naked eye from Earth. Ah, Comet C2025, our two swan made its closest approach to the sun.
