Well good afternoon Jack, good afternoon to the net. Jack I love it when you call for locally and internationally connected operators. It makes it sound like some of us are you know running like quote unquote import export businesses of dubious provenance. And it reminds me of one of the most powerful concepts in the Polish language which is the word zawadzic. Which means to take care of, to arrange. And quite often it has somewhat sinister undertones like oh we'll arrange him, we'll arrange him real good. So there we go. Jack you know if you were to ask me up until yesterday what the most useful tool in my work van is, without hesitation I would reach in my pocket and I'd produce a pen, a simple ballpoint pen. The most useful tool in this work van. But yesterday I had a loaner vehicle, side bar that for a minute. And somebody had left a pencil there, like a proper pen. You know like not like a mechanical, nothing against mechanical pencils. They have their uses. But this was you know a good old fashioned, you know kind of like a Dixon Ticonderoga number 2. Except it wasn't exactly a Dixon Ticonderoga number 2. But same thing and I started using that to take notes on my field sheets and cross items off and annotate. And I was like this feels good. So today I've been using a pencil and I think you know the pencil might supplant the pen as the most useful tool in this work van. I think I'm going to have to go to like a Goodwill or oh maybe I'll stop by U-Dub Surplus since PSA, today being Tuesday right? Today's Tuesday. Yeah U-Dub Surplus is open and I have to, maybe I'll buy one of those desk and or wall mount pencil sharpeners to install in this van. I think that would be a hoot. Anyway yesterday the van was in for preventative maintenance, oil change, a couple of other odds and ends. So I had a loaner vehicle and I had the Toyota VZ4 which is basically like you know the RAV4 crossover except it's all electric and that was a sweet ride. I had so much fun driving that thing. And regenerative braking, holy cats. How awesome is that? It had almost one pedal driving. It has like this normal mode and then it has like regenerative braking boost mode. And then you can really feel the regen kicking in. It was pretty cool. Anyway I had a lot of fun driving that thing. Hopefully I had it booked out for the week in case they needed to keep the van longer and I was kind of toying with the idea of on one of the days driving the Bolt. We have a Bolt at our disposal which would have been absolutely useless for carrying any equipment but I just really want to drive one. Anyway that's the report of my shenanigans yesterday and today. KV9IQX for accountability.
