Well man that is absolutely fantastic. I'm a former Charlie Bravo enthusiast myself back when I was younger. Also in the 80s and 90s I did mess around with a lot of radios and a lot of very heavily modified radios I don't mind saying. I was a fan of the free banding stuff and the triple five and all of those frequencies. I was belonging to an international DX group that had our place up there. I got bored of the lower 40 and got into the triple five and all of those frequencies and had a great time with it too. I made a lot of contacts. I live in St. John's, Newfoundland. We're an island way off the coast of Canada up here and I live on the very most eastern tip of that island. So we got nothing but ocean in between us and all of the eastern United States, Europe and Ireland and just all of those places. Nothing but water. So I made a lot of contacts around the world when I used to use that stuff back in the day. Had an Antron 99 about 50 feet in the air and it was a lot of fun. And now I really like ham radio. I have. I've been licensed for about 20 years. It'll be 20 years in April 2026. Absolutely love it man. It's a lot of fun. And when you use these internet linked modes, like for instance I'm on a handheld right now coming through a repeater that's located in my kitchen. And that hooks to an antenna that's about 650 feet in the air. And I just absolutely love it. I can take the portable with me and I can stay connected to the system here. Feel free to check out our website by the way and that's do drop in dot info. D-O-P-I-N dot I-N-F-O. Let me reset.
