Well good evening Joan and to Vanette. This is KA9 EHV and in Seattle. And it's interesting, so I spent today on a scene that was the worst thing to write I've done in quite a while. So many years ago I did a little pamphlet on how to write a scene about a common experience applied to a new and imaginary thing. And specifically I was using the subject of post-traumatic stress disorder which I have from at least three different sources. And so I had written journal entries from each of my three different sources. And then I had taken those entries and transmogrified them into this scene where the protagonist was having deep exposure therapy in an attempt to get rid of a really troubling case of PTSD. And I had forgotten that until I went to write this scene today where the character is having post-traumatic reactions in a place that is unexpected but shouldn't be. And oh man, that left me emotionally wiped out. So beware of what you want to write. It can have interesting and unintended consequences.
